Information on flying into Hilo

The most affordable way to come to Hilo is to make the arrangements yourself, although a travel agent can also help you do this.  The airport abbreviation is ITO. 

Hawaiian Air (www.hawaiianair.com) or www.Iflygo.com.   Starting June 2011 Continental.com/United.com will be flying from LAX and San Francisco to Hilo.

If you are  staying for a couple of days then some of the hotels you can stay at are:

We can pick you up at the airport for the tour or we can pick you up at your hotel.  After the tour we will drop you at the airport or the hotel.

We work with your schedule so just let us know what time you would like to be picked up and what tour you would like to go on.

FAQ

All tours depart from Hilo area except Private Circle Island tour which departs island wide. Water and umbrellas are provided as are flash lights where needed.

Please bring a jacket as it can be cool at higher elevations.  Good sturdy shoes are recommended for our hiking tours.  We cannot predict the lava viewing  condiitions, this feature can change hourly.

  WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SIGHTING OF ACTIVE LAVA FLOWS.
