Hamakua Coast and Waterfalls Tour:

Akaka, Kahuna and Rainbow Waterfalls and Scenic Coastal Route

Time: 5 hours  *** We will always have you back to the ship or airport on time.

For our Hamakua tour, you may choose to see the beautiful Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens.  http://www.htbg.com    * Onemea Falls may only be seen from the botanical gardens.

 Here you can view an amazing array of plants and flowers (15.00 entrance fee not included in tour price). 

Next, we visit  Akaka Falls (the state park now charges an entrance fee- 1.00 per person) where you will take a small hike to view two falls (Requires decending and climbing stairs).  We will also view Rainbow Falls near Hilo.   If time permits, you may want to stroll through the Farmers Market in historic downtown Hilo bayfront.

Payment Options: 1) Cash on day of tour (we can take you to ATM if needed)
2) Credit Card - $3.00 per person processing fee

We take you to those hidden spots.  Why pay to rent a car and then try and find your way around wasting precious time.   Get the most out of the time you have on the island.   And no big bus.  We can spend the time at the spots you like and skip the ones that you are not interested in.  It is Your tour.

FAQ

All tours depart from Hilo area except Private Circle Island tour which departs island wide. Water and umbrellas are provided as are flash lights where needed.

Please bring a jacket as it can be cool at higher elevations.  Good sturdy shoes are recommended for our hiking tours.  We cannot predict the lava viewing  condiitions, this feature can change hourly.

  WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SIGHTING OF ACTIVE LAVA FLOWS.
