Golf The Day At The Volcano Golf Course

Tour Price: Adult - $115 Price includes: green fees, cart and transportation from Hilo.

Minimum of 3 guests please.

Volcano Golf Course is one of the world's most unusual courses, on the rim of the active Kilauea volcanic crater. It lies in the cool upland forest, 4,000 feet above sea level. With sweeping views of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea (both snowcapped in winter). The course is 18 holes, par 72, a total of 6,547 yards of playing area. Located close to Volcano National Park, the course also offers a restaurant and bar.

*** We will always have you back to the ship or airport on time.

Note: If on a cruise ship or leaving on an airplane we must leave the golf course 2 hours before your ship or airplane departs. It is 1 hour back to the Hilo area from the golf course. If necessary we will depart before completing 18 holes.

Lunch: We can have lunch after the 9th hole and then continue. The golf course restaurant offers a variety of choices of food with soda, beer or wine.

What to bring: Rain Jacket, it can be cool and can rain. And your own clubs if you wish.

Payment Options:

1) Cash on the day of the tour.

2) Credit Card- $3.00 per person processing fee.

FAQ

All tours depart from Hilo area except Private Circle Island tour which departs island wide. Water and umbrellas are provided as are flash lights where needed.

Please bring a jacket as it can be cool at higher elevations. Good sturdy shoes are recommended for our hiking tours. We cannot predict the lava viewing condiitions, this feature can change hourly.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SIGHTING OF ACTIVE LAVA FLOWS.
